![]() ![]() Nothing is just some words for you to read, everything changes the game world in a way that matters to you, the player. It's really neat, and everything is a big deal for your plans. Magic can become drained, or empowered, sites can become conquered or lost to monsters. All these factions take actions and the map changes as time goes on. The world is dynamic - there are a number of factions from a globe spanning conquering empire, to various clans defying them down to individual bands of mercenaries, refuges or monsters. I've generated two different worlds and they felt really different from the other, and had different features and layouts. The randomly generated world map is small enough to keep in your head, but large enough to feel big and with a varied composition of different terrains. If you're a fan of games like Dwarf Fortress that generate a fantasy world for you to play in, this is one of the better ones.
